This product contains questions and related pictures to the Animals Unit in Kindergarten Treasures Unit 5. All strips are labeled with the Unit and Week numbers for easy finding and filing away.

Just print, glue on sentence strips and laminate! That easy.

Sample Questions in the Packet Include:

Which character are you most like?

Do you think mice and cats are similar or different?

Have you ever been to a farm? Zoo?

The Three Little Kittens is most like which story?

Which animal from Animal Babies ABC is your favorite?

Which story did you enjoy most?

Are you more like Mole or the baby bird?

Simple to use. After taking pictures of your students, glue them to nameplates and laminate. Use the nameplate as the holding space under the graphing picture.

These are great questions that will lead to Common Core Standards extensions and discussions among your whole group, small groups, or even your cooperative groups too. I also like to use these in literacy centers with clipboards.

Tuesday Treasures & Technology–Pinterest

Hi friends…
Recently, I added new collaborative boards to my Pinterest account and would love to invite you to pin here! You see, in my school district, we adopted Treasures as our language arts program last year and are required to complete several professional development hours.
After meeting with my Kindergarten colleagues, I realized this might be a great way to learn from many of you terrific teachers regarding how you are using Treasures in your classrooms. There are several grade level Treasures boards where many great ideas can be shared. If you or someone you know is interested in pinning to one or more of these boards, please contact me at terenariggins@gmail.com or leave a comment here! Don’t forget to leave your Pinterest URL!
